THE DIMPLE LIFE
It's not always clear - or easy - to know when the right time is to quit your job. Here are some signs to know when it's right for you.
Are you finding that you have so much to do at work and your health is taking a backseat? Speak to your manager about setting better expectations when it comes to your workload. If your manager is receptive, adjustments will be made to support you.
You don't have to be passionate about the work you do but if you once were and you've noticed you've become uninterested, it may be time to reassess your career path.
If your job responsibilities are uninteresting and you don't like your career trajectory, ask yourself what keeps you staying there? Is there another company out there that has a better path for you?
When you start searching "When to quit..." that's a good indicator that your intuition knows what you'd like to do, it's just a matter of creating a plan to do it responsibly.
No matter what job you have, it should be somewhat exciting with new things to learn and improve upon. As humans, we solve problems and feed our curiosity. If you aren't learning there's a good sign you are better suited for a different job function.
