HOW TO MAKE JOURNALING A HABIT

"Gratitude makes sense of your past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."

Don't Put Pressure On Yourself

Journaling is a non-judgement space where you can free write. The minute you dread a habit, the more it won't stick!.

Be specific.

When you want to create a new habit, create a specific time and place where this habit occurs. Is it in the morning right after you brush your teeth? Is it while you are sipping your morning coffee?

Start with prompts

If you are new to journaling, responding to prompts can be helpful to get your mind going. Download a free set of prompts here.

Writing in a cute journal always helps kick start the practice. Here is one that combines prompts as well.

Write at the same time

In order to form a habit you must practice the act at the same time so your brain knows what to expect and when. Practice pulling out your journal at the same time each day.
